Paper Mill Studios - The Ts & The Cs
• CONFIRMATION OF SPACE:
We kindly ask that all options are confirmed 48 hours before the requested shoot day. Confirmation is only accepted by the completion of a signed booking form and full payment.
• BOOKING DETAILS
If the full details of the shoot are not revealed prior to the shoot date and documented on this booking form, paper mill studios has the right to suspend the shoot until the agreement can be re-negotiated. For clarification purposes, unless agreed in writing prior to commencement of the shoot, a booking will consist of one photographer and one crew per location booking day.
• WORKING HOURS + OVER TIME
The normal working day is 9am to 6pm unless otherwise stated. Overtime is charged at 20% of the day rate per room hired. Location overtime and week-end shooting is solely at the discretion of the owners.
• CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation 48hrs prior to the day of the shoot will entitle you to 50% refund. Cancellation 24hrs prior to the day of the shoot will entitle you to 0% refund.
• USAGE
Any shots taken at the location of the shoot day are authorized for use solely for the stated job and may not be re-used or sold on for further usage with-out our prior or subsequent agreement.
• SMOKING
Paper Mill Studios is a non smoking location. If any member of your cast or crew wishes to smoke they can only do so away from the main front door and front loading doors.
• DELIVERIES AND COLLECTION
All props, lighting or any other deliveries that need to be brought to the studio prior to access must be arranged with us beforehand. To make arrangements please call or email a day before so that we can ensure there is space to take deliveries. Additionally, all parcels and packages should be clearly labelled with the name of the shoot and for the attention of ‘bookings’. Any deliveries should be arranged only between Monday and Friday from 9am to 6pm.
• ADDITIONAL CHARGES
We may charge for additional elements after the completion of the shoot for any of the following should they have been used: -catering, -waste management, cleaning fee, overtime, additional days etc. Any damage to the location, decorative finishes and otherwise of the property will be added to the final invoice on a case by case basis. Cost of making good any damage will be added to the final invoice.
• DAMAGE
Any damage to decorative finishes or breakages of property belonging to the location is the responsibility of the client/photographer and must be made good on the day, to the owners satisfaction. Any damage must be reported as soon as possible as permanent damage or staining from spillages can sometimes be avoided. Furniture must be lifted at all times to avoid scratching the floors which would be considered decorative damage. Gaffer tape must not be stuck to any surface in the location as it will cause decorative damage. Making holes in any surface, or wooden panelling for hanging pictures is not permitted.You are accountable for protecting the floor and all surfaces in the building, please use protective flooring / tennis balls under all stands and heavy equipment.
• TIDYING
The location must be left in a clean and tidy state (any furniture to be replaced to its original position) otherwise the cost of a professional cleaning service will be added. We work with a dedicated waste management service who take care of the removal of waste at the end of each day. We will provide you with special bin bags for both recycling and general waste. These will be billed back at the end of the shoot and cost £1.50 For recycling and £2.50 For general waste. Once filled they can either be placed outside on the pavement after 6pm or left in the space and we will sort for you. Please do not leave any other bin liners on the street as they will not be collected and you will face a charge. Rubbish that will not fit into bin liners should be taken away by the client/photographer at the end of each day. Any large rubbish not disposed of will incur an additional charge of £20 per item.
• PUBLIC/EMPLOYER’S LIABILITY + DAMAGES
You are liable for all people related to your booking on and off the premises. With a crew size for 10+ we will need to see this documentation, before the shoot commences.
• PETS + ANIMALS
It is not permitted to bring pets or animals into any part of the location without prior agreement with the owners.
• OVERTIME
Overtime is billed at 20% of the hired day rate. Unless agreed otherwise.
• THREE PHASE POWER CHARGE
£150.00 additional charge.
• ALL DAY PARKING PERMITS
Available on request. Charged at £25.00 per vehicle per day. (There is also a first come first serve parking garage open 06.30 - 18.30 near by (with height restrictions) for £12.00 a day. The gates shut at 18.30 on the dot)
• DAMAGES DEPOSIT FEE
£1000.00 - this is refunded, once the hired space / s have been checked. All overtime and other overages will be taken from this deposit first.
• CALL SHEET
We require your call sheet as soon as it is available, before, your shoot commences.
